COMMUNITY CROSSROADS DROP-IN-CENTER
IS A SAFE, NON-THREATENING PLACE WHERE PEOPLE CAN OBTAIN INFORMATION ABOUT SERVICES IN THE COMMUNITY AND INTERACT WITH OTHER CONSUMERS. PARTICIPATION AT COMMUNITY CROSSROADS DROP-IN-CENTER IS VOLUNTARY AND WITHOUT TIME LIMITS .

We provide a safe and comfortable environment where people have the opportunity to socialize and become involved in different activities including support groups, self-help groups, advocacy groups and special interest groups, as well as other activities in and outside the center. We believe these consumer-run services are the heart of empowerment and embody the principles of self-help. These opportunities create an atmosphere where people can learn and become more independent. Community Crossroads is a place where mental health consumers can and do speak for themselves, and above all, a place they can call their own. Community Crossroads receives technical and administrative supports through Horizon House Inc. a human services non-profit organization located in Southeastern, PA.
